Sundown in the Sunflower Patch! Presenting a new sheep painting!

If you've followed my work for any length of time you know my love for whimsical sheep paintings.  I've been carving and painting sheep since the 80's--and never tire of them.  I worked as a pastor for many years and my affinity for sheep came from that vocation.  I used to find old sheep prints at the flea market to decorate my study.  One of the great joys in art over the last few years has been the number of people who have told me that the whimsical sheep put a smile on their faces, bringing them happiness.  One dear lady, who is very ill told me she keeps my artwork in prominent places in her home because it lifts her spirit.  I could receive no greater complement! A favorite Bible verse of mine:  But He led his own people like a flock of sheep, guiding them safely through the wilderness. Psalm 78:52 (NLT)
